We are centrally located in the 104 area in Reykjavík, close to Skeifan shopping center, where you can find various shopping centers, take away food, pharmacies, healt center etc. All within 800 mtr. walking radius from the house.
We are located between the 2 beautiful valleys: Laugardalur valley and Elliðarárdalur which are both a great hiking area. In Laugardalur we have the Botanical garden and also the biggest swimming pool in Reykjavík, where to you can walk in abt 20 min. or hop on a bus just outside the house that takes you there in 5 – 10 min.
In the shopping mall Glæsibær we have our own local pub – the oldest pub in Reykjavík: Ölver, serving beer, burgers and cozy atmosphere. Only 10 min. walking from the house.
Also nice restaurants like: Saffran (they close though 9pm) however serve nice healthy dishes and have vegan options. Then we have the international ones like: Dominos pizza, KFC, Subway, among other divers eateries like Salatbarinn who serves a buffet like lunch and dinner at a favourable prices – but close at 8pm. So in few words you can just stroll in the Skeifan area and are bound to find a place to sit down or if you want to have things simple just order a pizza ;)
We have one of the nices cafe/bakery in Reykjavík within few minutes from the house: Passion, Álfheimar 4 and then Café Milano in Skeifan.

Let guests know how they can get around the neighborhood and what parking is like.
We have very easy access to our house, either by bus or by car. We have free parking just outside the house. Nearest bus stop is only 50 mtr. from the house, then there are 2 – 3 other bus stops within 8 – 12 minutes walking distance who connect comfortably with the bus routes in the city. It´s clever to download the bus app beforehand if you will be using the busses.
From the airport you can take the flight bus to Reykjavík central bus station. From there to our house. Should you rent a car it´s only like 45 – 50 min. drive from the airport to our house and always a free parking space :)
