The cottage was very peaceful, spacious and warm. The kitchen is well equipped and now has a small dishwasher a good range of pots and pans, shallow oven pans, a casserole dish, crockery, glasses, eating and cooking utensils, chef’s knives, scissors, grater, cafetière and even a rolling pin! Electrical appliances include a microwave, slow cooker, counter top mixer, hand blender among other equipment. A large hot water tank for bath and basins, a good electric shower over the bath. A toilet roll, washing up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, kitchen cloths, towels and bed linen was provided. Graham, the host, was friendly and responsive to text messages even though he was on holiday in another time zone. Care and attention to detail was obvious with a welcoming Christmas tree, books, chess set, a few DVDs, wood burning stove, DVD player and satellite TV. An enclosed garden with furniture. Large off road parking space possibly for two cars. Thank you Graham for an excellent stay!
