Worth every penny! We are a family of 6 and we had the best time. The photos of the home don’t do it justice - it’s gorgeous. Comfy beds, clean linen and ample kitchen goods. I will definitely recommend this Airbnb.

We were a party of 6, my partner, myself, daughter, her husband , Ella 9 and Skyla 5. The house was perfect for us, the girls delighted with their bunk room up the open staircase and their parents on the other side. Younger children might find it a bit daunting but they loved it. We enjoyed the peace downstairs. Sensitivity decorated with personal touches so we felt at home. Wonderful views and so peaceful except for the early morning gardeners! The air fryer in the kitchen was amazing and so useful. Pots seemed to be made for a strong armed person not little old me! Seriously though, we all would recommend this charming house in Onrus for a family holiday close to beaches, malls, Benguela Cove for the children and fantastic wine farms in Hemel in Aarde for adults. Thank you for a special time for us all ( and we did leave the lady still about to dive!)

Loved staying at Sonja’s house. Onrus is a beautiful spot to relax - 2km walk to the beach is lovely, with great running routes along the coastal paths. Excellent position for Hermanus and the Hemel-en-Aarde valley, including the parkrun. Our favourite spot was the deck - wonderful view of the river, a sparkling pool and braai. Sonja was a responsive host - thank you for having us & look forward to returning soon.
