We were looking for a large open space for a family of 15 for a weekend get away as a Christmas present for our mom/Grammy. Bearshield Lodge was exactly that. We had a large group but it felt like we had endless space. We even had extra beds! The large open beautiful kitchen served us well- we were able to all sit down together for meals which was amazing. We played games in the living room and had enough space to spread out but also be together. The pool table was a great option for down time as well. We luckily had great weather and got outside to fish, kayak, fly kites, walk about, and play a flag football game in the field. The waterfall feature was an added bonus. At night we star gazed and made a bonfire. I brought my 1 year old baby and there was toys, a pack n play (Melissa even delivered a mattress cover and sheets), a baby tub and soap and so much more. So accommodating! I would absolutely recommend.

We were looking for a place to host our large family holiday gathering and this property did not disappoint!! The space was beautiful, extremely clean, and fully stocked with anything and everything we could have possibly needed or wanted. Melissa and her family are fantastic hosts - very responsive and really made the property feel like home. We loved every minute of our stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you Melissa for such a great experience!!
