A cozy Tudor home close to the water in Westchester's Ossining. Easy access (~1 mile) from both Croton / Harmon and Ossning train stations make this an easy trip to/from NYC. The house has a private pool (Jun - Sept) and hot tub, yard to hang out, and 4 bedrooms + multiples spaces to use for working. The kitchen comes overly stocked for someone who loves to cook and there's a brand new grill out back for bbqing. The house ~100 years old with warm wood throughout in classic Tudor style. Main floor: Living room with working wood fireplace Screened in porch with porch swing 1/2 Bath Kitchen (WELL stocked with cooking things) with breakfast nook Dining room Office (FAVORITE room) Upstairs: BR1: Twin over full bunk beds. Full bath. BR2: Twin day bed with trundle pull-out (Alice in Wonderland style with reading nook) Main BR: Queen bed with Full bath/heated floors/claw foot tub Top floor: Open space with couch/chair/mini fridge/games BR 4: Queen bed Outside: Playground on yard with working shed In-ground swimming pool Outdoor shower Hot tub Dining table and grill

We love staying at Melanie’s place. It’s very convenient for when we visit my Mom at Atria on Hudson, and she is also comfortable in the home despite her limited mobility. There are only 3 steps at the front door and there’s a powder room on the main level. This house is so charming, and Melanie is very responsive. Highly recommend
Melanie’s home was perfect for our family’s birthday gathering! We loved the living room with the wood fire and enjoyed the hot tub at the beginning and end of our day! It was a cozy home with many bedrooms to fit our family’s need. We had a great time and experience! Melanie was a gracious host!
We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. The house was beautiful- even more lovely and spacious than the photos. Plenty of room for our family of five. Melanie left some much appreciated snacks and water out on arrival and was super quick to respond to a question about the thermostat. The swing in the front yard and play set in the back were huge extras for our three boys. Would be great to visit in the summer and enjoy the pool!
Beautiful backyard and we got to enjoy the pristine hot tub. Love the historic nature of the home, our host had snacks for us, and felt very at home there. Wonderful stay!
This is such a beautiful, charming home. We absolutely loved it! Melanie is a terrific host and was very responsive. The info she sent just before check-in was very thorough and we had no issues finding what we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, or bathrooms. Highly recommended!

Parking for 3 cars easily on a driving pad and drive-way. 4 if you squeeze.
1.5 miles from both train stations (Ossining and Croton). About 50 minutes to Grand Central.
You can easily walk to a few restaurants (DD's Diner, Brother's Fish n Chips, etc) and there's excellent cycling to a wide variety of water towns.
