This cozy, quiet country style living was very clean and abundant with everything you need for your stay. Ellen is extremely kind, generous and very communicative. I highly recommend staying here. The landscape and views are beautiful. Truly a happy place to be.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for a busy 3 days…there’s so much to do in the area (Pilot Mtn & Mt Airy). Loved the decor, comfortable furniture, and it was very clean. The kitchenette had everything we needed for lite / simple meals, and storing or reheating leftovers. This was our first “shared” space rental (we enjoy the quiet, peaceful, & more private places) and we were very glad we chose to stay here. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed meeting Ellen and she is a wonderful host. We definitely plan on returning.

This is a countryside art villa!! If you love beautiful works of art, stunning interior design, impeccable hosting, and an amazing backyard view of Pilot mountain, this is your dream spot. The pictures just don't do it justice. It is truly beautiful. You're on a huge energy vortex that invokes a sense of calm. We all slept great. The hostess Ellen provides anything you need or want. She gave us great recommendations for local places. I stayed for my birthday weekend and was surprised to come into cupcakes from the local bakery!! I was also given a beautiful hand drawn birthday card. I could go on and on about the million reasons to stay here! This villa is definitely for the Art Lovers, New Agers and Mountain seekers! If you wanna feel like you're an old friend arriving in town, I highly recommend Ellen as your host. One of the best parts is prints of the artwork is available for purchase to take home for yourself or a souvenir guft from your trip! A+ across the board.

It's evident that Ellen loves her home. She wants her guests to love it, too. Her basement suite offers something to delight the eyes at every turn and clean, comfortable accomodations that are thoughtfully stocked. We needed a quiet place to rest and rejuvenate. Ellen's backyard provided everything we desired: a wide comfortable space with gorgeous scenery, a country-road ride to major highways, and various activities within short distances. We loved our stay!
