The primary King size bedroom opens onto the balcony and is host to glorious, uninterrupted mountain and ocean views, plus a walk-in dressing room leads through to the bathroom for your privacy and convenience. The Queen room also offers hinterland views and hosts a large built-in robe for your clothes and personal items. Single room with two King single beds provides space for the children to play with provided books and games plus double wardrobes. The living area extends seamlessly to a spacious outdoor entertaining deck overlooking the rolling countryside and Pacific Ocean. It is here you can enjoy the bright city lights at night stretching from Brisbane to Maroochydore and is an absolute must to enjoy during your stay. During the day the native birds will enjoy eating from the bird feeder at the far end of the deck ... birdseed provided. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The view is breathtaking taking! We loved having the birds (especially the kookaburra) visit our balcony each day and when the cows would come up close to the fence and say hi! Jody was very respectful in giving us our space but also keeping the line of communication open in case we needed anything. A nice place to recharge our batteries, thanks again Jody.
The house was so well equipped to the finest detail and also very clean which is not easy in such a rural location . The family loved the campfire where I cooked and watching the stars . The pup enjoyed herself and we will love to return again . Thanks Jody great stay . Nick
We had a great relaxing family stay.
If you are looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway that is close to lots of hinterland experiences, and only 20 minutes from the beach, this is the place for you! We stayed for two weeks and had an amazing time. The house was perfectly located and offered an amazing base for the days where we didn't want to do anything (or couldn't because of the weather). Maleny is a short drive over the hill and has everything you need including lovely cafes and playgrounds for the kids. Plenty of space in and out of the house for the kids to run around. The cattle were a highlight for my 3 year old, and the birds (kookaburra and magpies) visited daily, singing for food. A scenic and peaceful location with a highly responsive but non invasive host. We would love to stay again in the future :)
A wonderful house overlooking beautiful views. So quiet and peaceful and wonderful to be able to bring our pup with us too. We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay by another night. Easy, quick communication. All in all, a great find and would stay again 😊
