Perfect family and pet holiday. Enclosed decking length of Lodge with outdoor table and chairs, plus large seating area at front of Lodge, with rattan furniture in place. Ample room in the open plan kitchen and dining area for all guests plus an infant. High chair and travel cot in Lodge. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means adequate facilities for all. On site there are 5 star leisure facilities, including gym and swimming pool. Excellent bar and restaurant with lake and beach area nearby. The kitchen area is modern and open plan including dining area. In the lounge there are two large comfy settees with cushions to chill and relax in. There are patio doors which open onto large seating area outside. The family bathroom has WC, wash basin and large walk in shower. Opposite is the twin room with two full sized single beds, drawers and wardrobe for storage. Down the corridor is the spacious double bedroom with ample cupboard, wardrobes and dresser area, and leads into the en suite bathroom with walk in shower, wash basin and WC. From the corridor enter into the third bedroom with single bed, cabinet and wardrobe, underneath there is the travel cot.

A beautiful lodge, clean and fresh. All bases were covered, everything we needed. The lodge was so inviting and felt like home. All ages were catered for, toys, books and games kept us entertained. Carole was quick responding to messages, very freindly. We will be booking again.
This was our second stay at Carole’s place and we will definitely be back. Easy booking, communications and instructions for everything. Well equipped kitchen, Carole has thought of everything and always a treat waiting along with necessities to settle in(milk, coffee sugar etc) which is a lovely touch, given we always forget something! Lots of information regarding the local area and things to do. This stay we visited Lancaster which is a great day out and the Cumbria safari zoo.. these days catered for all of us.. nights we just took a walk then came back to chill out.. thanks again Carole you are the hostess with the mostess x
Carole’s lodge met all our expectations and more! We found the lodge immaculately cleaned and welcoming for our arrival with milk in the fridge and sweeties on the table! Beds were comfortable and clean and all utilities were easy to use..everything you could need during your stay we found in the well stocked cupboards! Loved it so much we booked to go back in April whilst still there! Thanks Carole for a great stay xx
Superb lodge, really cosy and comfortable and felt welcoming, especially as it was decorated for Christmas, with a beautiful tree and outdoor decorations and lights. Carole ensured that we had all the information we needed ahead of our stay, so getting in was straightforward. A bowl of treats and a pint of milk in the fridge was a welcome touch, we were able to enjoy a cuppa and biscuits as soon as we got in. Fab kitchen, had everything we needed and then some! Bed was comfortable, had a great night's sleep. The site itself was quiet, with the bar/restaurant and other facilities a short walk across the road. Would definitely recommend.

Rural setting, private vehicle access. A very small community of approx 20 lodges, all having their own parking and lawned areas. A large pond is central with dozens of ducks and wildlife.
5 minutes walk to the on-site 5 star leisure facilities, including gym and indoor swimming pool. 5 mins drive to Greenlands Farm Village and opposite is Longlands bar and restaurant. 20 mins drive will take you to Lakeside, a small village in Newby Bridge at the south end of Lake Windermere, Cumbria.
