This place is for those that want extreme tranquility. The place was airy with pure simplicity! For a little ways outside of Granbury, its well worth staying.

Wonderful place to stay! The white fence is adorable but made it so helpful to find the house and turn in especially at night. Porches were nice and open with lots of comfy seating, back porch was quiet with a beautiful view. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows. Very nicely decorated, and everything was very clean. Kitchen was perfect. Internet was fast, and everything worked great! Aaron was proactive in describing check in and check out process and it was all easy. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great spot! Just off a semi-busy road but when you step to the back porch, felt like you were out in the middle of no where. It was quite peaceful. When it rains, all you can hear is the rain falling on the metal roof.

Need peace and quiet and “ friend@ time!! Found it here!! Birds were singing wind was breezy. Could not have been better!!

This was a quick girl's trip for Eclipse 2024. The Carraige House: Historic with interesting furnishings, modern amenities, games, record player, etc. The attention to detail was very appreciated. (I am an interior designer and attention to detail is my job, this home was decorated with such thoughtfulness) ...and OH so clean. Plenty of room to move around and to cook. The back porch/ yard with 100-year-old oak trees is incredibly peaceful. The front porch is on a slightly busy country road, but all is forgotten inside the house and in the back yard. The Town: Many things to see. Historic Downtown only minutes away. Beautiful walking parks. Shopping, Art, Food, the beach, the lake. We just kept discovering things to do! The locals are very welcoming. You won't be disappointed!
