I was very happy with this beautiful apartment in Le Marais. The 5th floor balcony is beautiful and was fantastic to sit on in the evening, watching the sunset with wine and whatever market treat we found that day before heading out for dinner. It is full of plants and gets incredible light. The neighborhood is full of delicious cafes, very diverse food options, and close to several markets - including Marché couvert des Enfants Rouges. It’s also very walkable to any metro line you could need so the whole city is open to you. Bernard was excellent and proactive, being very flexible with both check-in and check-out, helping us with our bags and showing us around the place when we arrived and pointing out where to go down the street for basic necessities. When I had an evening flight out on a rainy day, I was able to arrange a later checkout through him that made my travel day much more pleasant. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

Worth every penny. Middle of a best area. Things to do left, right and centre. Alan was responsive and Bernard was the best and most accomodating host. Will 100% stay again.

If you're looking to book a place in Paris that feels like a home - this is your place. While you may not be "near monuments" or have views of the Eiffel Tower from here, let's be real - that's very cliche. Notre Dame is about a 10 minute walk from here & this neighborhood "La Marais" is incredible. You're in the heart of the neighborhood, and you may even find yourself not wanting to leave! Our last couple of days, we actually didn't. Within 100 steps you can find supermarkets, bars, shops, local artisans, gardens, etc. The bed was very comfortable. Having a washer/dryer in the flat was amazing. TVs in both the living room and bedroom was kind of fun to watch French tv after a long day of walking (for a couple who doesn't watch much tv). A large fridge was such a treat, especially when we were big on cooking at home most evenings (restaurants add up to be very expensive in Paris after a while!) The walk up to the 5th floor was easy enough, We would stay here again !

Alan’s apartment is the perfect Parisian apartment. The little balcony overlooking the surrounding rooftops makes for a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Bernard met us when we arrived and helped with luggage and introducing us to the flat. Every inch of the apartment is so thoughtfully organized, allowing for everything you need in a small, but neat and tidy space. Bernard so thoughtfully surprised us with a bottle of water, orange juice and wines in the fridge and coffee and madeleines for our mornings. Such a treat and much appreciated gesture!

This is the place for an authentic Parisian experience! This review comes from typical Americans living in a modern suburban house. While we've been to Paris several times previously, we wanted a more authentic Paris experience. This flat fits the bill perfectly. Located in Le Marais, you are away from Paris' touristy areas. Also, you are in the heart of Paris' LGBTQIA+ community, surrounded by lively shops, cafes, and bars. Examples of the authentic experience: 1) The flat is on the 5th floor with no elevator. 2) A lively cafe/bar at the ground level is open late. 3). The balcony was lovely for both breakfast and late-night cheese & champagne. The flat is well-equipped, super clean, and has a comfy bed. For sightseeing Notre Dame is a short walk and Metro stations are nearby. One last thing - Bernard, the property manager, is great. He helped us with our luggage and was super responsive. We loved our experience. Thanks to Ines and Bernard for our best trip to Paris yet!
