This was my second time staying in Gray Fox. I lived in this neighborhood for 12 years, so I knew this setting would be peaceful and quiet, yet with easy access to Wimberley. The cabin is nicely appointed with everything you would need for a stay, plus very charming decor and newer interiors. The small front deck is nice for hanging out in nature, and you can see a neighboring horse arena. Per other reviews, internet was so-so, but that is country living for you and not the reason for my stay. There were plenty of basic toiletries and kitchen starters, plus fully outfitted kitchen for cooking. Perfect spot especially if you have a group of friends or family who wish to rent the other cabins. Easy to find from the map link the host provided and a great stay.

everything about this place was great, except one small thing, if I could give 4.5 stars I would. it’s not a big deal but it did make getting directions and looking up places around Wimberly hard, the wifi is awful, I understand it’s more of a place to unplug and unwind but signal is already kind of bad out here so having limited wifi especially after long days out, wanting to come back and watch a movie wasn’t really an option, but other than that it was great all around, great place, great location and very easy to get too.

An absolute lovely place to stay. Unfortunately while we stayed we didn’t get to stargaze due to the cloudy weather but it might be another reason to come stay here again. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all of our meals and desserts and the location was beautiful and peaceful. Wimberley as a town was full of life and had gorgeous scenery. 10/10 would stay again!

Wonderful location in the Texas Hill Country. The unit is located in a small development of five manufactured homes. While these are in fact “trailers“ they are in fact a very modern and comfortable design with high ceilings and all the amenities. The pictures show it clearly. As they warn you the WiFi is a little weak but they have the best service available in the area. You can’t have both a great country location and super fast internet. Cell service was adequate for making calls. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and comfortable couch. The smart TV worked fine but viewing Netflix was hampered at times by the weak internet. About 8 miles into Wimberley with a great H-E-B lots of restaurants and coffee shops. You could actually see a horse corral on the neighboring property but we never saw it in use. It had jumps and other training equipment so it would have been fun to see a practice. Maybe you will have better luck.
