You can Relax by the pool, take a short stroll to the beach, feed the horse and donkey, or just hang out around the firepit watching the stars all while enjoying the calm relaxation of your boutique mini resort in Loreto Mexico. Pufferfish Villas is a boutique resort property with two Villas currently available. Villa 1 - Pool Villa is closest to the pool with a view of the pool from the kitchen and bedroom windows. Your villas has a spacious great room area with a full kitchen, living room, and dinette area. Your kitchens has a full size refrigerator, gas cooktop, large toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you will need. We provide purified drinking water for your stay. The living room has a couch and chair where you can enjoy the 55" Smart UHD TV with 120+ US based english channels including ESPN and all your favorite cable channels. You can also stream through our superfast Starlink internet. The bedroom has a king bed with luxury pillow top king sized mattress. You also have a 43" Smart UHD TV in the bedroom with all the same channels and streaming. There is a dedicated desk area with a comfortable desk chair and power station for all your electronics. The bedroom also has ample closet space and storage along with a laptop sized security safe for your use. The bathroom has everything you need including a huge shower with bench, luxury rain showerhead, and great water pressure maintained by our own onsite water system. You have high speed 100Mbs+ internet covering the entire property. The entire property is fenced and secured 24/7. You will have 24 hour access to the secured onsite parking through the electronic keypad entry at the automatic driveway gate. We also provide 24 hour keypad access through our front walking gate. You have a beautiful pool heated year round to 88 degrees with a pool cabana and four mini cabanas to soak up the sun. Pool towels are provided in your Villa. The entire pool area is covered by high speed internet and there are power plugs at every seating location to charge your devices at the pool. Other amenities include a firepit area, free on-site laundry room access, gas BBQ, hammocks, cornhole, palapa, free bikes, and separate community fish refrigerator/freezer. We are located on the North side of town, providing a calm retreat from the vibrant downtown area. We are a 2 min walk from Playa Negrita beach and a 5 minute bike ride or 15 min walk to the center plaza.

If I could give Doug and Hope 10 stars for this paradise, I would! It was phenomenal! They have created a Loreto-themed, luxury space using the best materials for construction and amenities. Our casita in the villa was spacious with high ceilings and rich finishes. It could be featured in Homes Beautiful. It lacked nothing-every detail for the guest was well thought out. We appreciated the laundry room, replete with high end machines, soap and more. Communication was excellent. We loved how close it was to the beach (2 1/2 minute walk and maybe 3 1/2 minutes to the malecón) and if you walk (or drive) down their street, it ends at the plaza where you find restaurants, drinkeries, and shops. The donkey and horse next door were fun. They loved pineapple rinds and there were beautiful birds around including orioles. My only wish was that we had stayed more nights. I hit a grand slam booking their place! We will be back. ¡Muy bueno!
Just a wonderful place to stay in Loreto. At this time there are only 2 villas, so it’s like having a private heated pool and a private fire pit. The villas are decorated beautifully and the architectural elements are lovely. Looking forward to staying again next year.
Pufferfish Villas is only a few months old, so everything is clean and works well. The villas are well built, tastefully decorated and the complex is thoughtfully designed. The photos are very accurate. The hosts, Doug and Hope, were very responsive to all our questions/needs. In Loreto, this is where we would stay again!

Douglas made every effort to make us welcome. He allowed us to make two changes of schedule and was always available if needed. They built a very nice place here. The overall design down to the furnishing and fixtures are very classy. We wish them the best as they continue to expand on this place.

We are located at the North end of the El Jaral Neighborhood (or Colonia). We are a 2 minute walk (600ft) from the beach. We are in an area of multi million dollar homes and have a 7 acre pasture next to our property with a resident horse and donkey who love treats.
We have onsite secured parking and overflow parking available. We are a 2 minute walk (600ft) from the beach. We are approximately a 4 minute drive or 15 minute walk (1.3 km or 3/4 mile) to the center plaza in town. Our neighborhood is extremely safe and we frequently walk to town and back at night with no concerns. Taxis are readily available and can take you anywhere you want to go. We have taxi information in our guidebook in the villa.
