Located in Glenshire, 6 miles from downtown Truckee. You're booking a private room in a cozy family home. Dedicated guest bathroom adjacent to room. DON'T BOOK IN WINTER ULESS YOU HAVE 4WD/AWD WITH SNOW TIRES!!! The room is spacious with mission style furniture. There is no TV in the room. The guest room is accessed from inside the main house. In the guest room, you will also find a desk, small refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker. In the closet you'll find extra blankets and luggage racks. The guest room is spacious with a very comfortable queen-size bed with memory foam mattress and nice linens and plush pillows. There is no TV in the room. The guest room is accessed from inside the main house. Towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer are also provided. In the guest room, you will also find a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. In the closet you'll find extra blankets and luggage racks.

Eric was a very kind and responsive host! I didn't get to meet him however he was very proactive in giving instructions to enter the house, everything was clean and as described, and there were extra touches in the room that were appreciated like chocolates, coffee, and water provided. His neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back!

The home is located in Glenshire, a quiet local's neighborhood just outside the busy tourist area of Truckee. There are trails and a community pond within walking distance. There is a cute little grocery store, restaurant, and paved bike path within a short biking distance. Downtown Truckee is a 10 minute drive, and ski areas are a 30 minute drive (traffic dependent).
Please note: during the winter months, a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle with SNOW TIRES OR CHAINS IS MANDATORY. This is a mountain home and my driveway is steep and may be icy. DO NOT BOOK if you don't have a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle with SNOW TIRES OR CHAINS.
