Our place is situated within walking distance (2km) of the stadiums at Addington, Wolfbrook Arena, Apollo Projects Staidum and Addington Race Way, which makes for a perfect location when visiting for an upcoming event. Our house is a rear section on a very quiet tree lined street in Spreydon. It is super close to Barrington Mall, which offers various takeaways and a supermarket. We are also a short distance from the CBD (5km) if you are wanting in visit the city while your here in Christchurch. We have a large two bedroom house built in the 90s. We like to have a very clean and simple space, free from any clutter. We have some off street parking available. The room gets tons of afternoon sun, brand new queen bed and new carpet. The bathroom and toilet are separate but shared with us.

We had a great time. The host gave us lots of tips about restaurants and the surrounding area. Both were super nice and accommodating. The room is just like in the pictures. All in all, a great stay. We'd love to come back.

We had a very short stay at Al’s and we were fully satisfied with the location and amenities at the house; Wish we had more time to interact with the hosts since they were very welcoming and pleasant in the short interactions we had.
Al and Tammy were lovely hosts and we had a great time staying at their house. The place is clean and comfortable, just a bit outside of city centre, but Al and Tammy even lent us their bikes in order to get around more easily. They were happy to give recommendations as well, overall we can really recommend!

We are super close to Barrington Mall, which offers a Warehouse, fast foods, and a super market. We are away from any main roads, so our place is very private and safe.
We are within walking distance of a variety of places. The orbiter bus stops just down the road from us, which allows access to most of the wider city. This bus stop also services the CBD. We are 2km from Addington, 4km from the CBD, and 3km from Riccarton. It is also very easy access from the Motorway with the on ramp at the end of Barrington Road. We may have some off street parking and tons of parking on the street as well.

We are Allan and Tammy. We are a couple who own our very first home, that we would love to share with others. I am a Kiwi and my partner is from Taiwan. Tammy is fluent in mandarin. We both have travelled NZ extensively. We both have professional careers in education and architecture. We love to get out into the wilderness and have hiked many trails across New Zealand. We are looking forward to hosting you.
