Kotatuli is a small family business run by family and friends together. Our values include nature and the well-being of people and animals, The traditional Finnish log house is located 57 km from the center of Rovaniemi, in the middle of the forest, on the edge of the wilderness. Family room on the upper floor of the house, 2x double bed, 1 x Single bed + option for a baby bed. 1-5 person. The price includes breakfast, bedclothes and sheets, and the use of the beach sauna as agreed. The possibility to buy food services and prepare food yourself in the house and at hut.

Me and my brother stayed at Katjas place for one night. She and her family and the dogs where very kind and friendly and welcomed us! We had dinner together and they answered all our questions reg Finnland, the finish life and so on. Later at night we had a real Finnish sauna. All in all a great experience. Katjas place is a stay, where you can get in touch with people, if you want to, and it’s not one of these anonymous accommodations where you don’t know who you’re staying with. We liked that a lot and loved to hang out there and joined a walk with the dogs to the forest.

Kotatuli is located in a scenic location in the middle of the forest, by the lake. The nearest permanent apartments are 11 km away. There are a few summer cottages in the nearby area, but there is no line of sight to them.
The best way to get there is with your own car. You can also ask about our transport service. Free parking in the yard.
