Alex’s place is just like the photos, if not even more beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the view is really spectacular. We appreciated how Alex and her husband gave us private use of the pool deck - it really felt like the place was ours - but it was also great to meet them (and their friendly pets!). Throughout the trip, communication with Alex was smooth and easy. I’m already scouring my calendar for the next trip back.

This was a lovely place to stay with a wonderful view. The apartment is fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is an easy drive to Christiansted. We also enjoyed the pets!

Alex’s place is exactly as shown in the listing - probably better! The setting is idyllic - we spent most of our time on the porch lounging and reading with that amazing view. Penny came to visit from time to time - but Ira (cat) hung out with us for several days. Christiansted is just 20 minutes away (you’ve got to try Chupacabra tacos and Cream and Co on the boardwalk). She provides chairs and mats for the beach - and snorkel gear (Shoy’s beach has awesome shore snorkeling). The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We used the grill 3x for roasted veggies, hot dogs and steaks. The rooms have AC - we opted to keep the doors (with magnetic screens) open to main area and only used the AC at night in the bedroom. We will be back!

Sailors Rest & Alex exceeded our expectations! The view was phenomenal, the airbnb was well appointed, and the pool/deck was so luxurious. Also, most comfortable beds and pillows ever! My group and I agreed this was the best airbnb we had ever stayed in and to top it all off we got special visits from Penny (Alex’s sweet golden retriever). As first time visitors to St. Croix we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the location, its central to lots of things to do and we felt comfortable navigating from the Airbnb with our rental car. Highly recommend Sailor’s Rest, Alex and Penny as hosts! We look forward to our next vacation to St. Croix!!

Clean and secluded.. place looks just like the pictures, with a breathtaking view night and day. Gated community total privacy.. Her dog or cat may come say high but that’s about it lol. Very communicative and flexible. Get a rental, but a private taxi would come.
