Great host very kind. Apartment is huge and has great amenities. The bed was super comfortable and tv in bedroom was awesome. Would stay there again for sure. Close to a ton of restaurants and stores.

I had a good time in North Bethesda and found Owais’s place a fairly convenient middle ground to get to both shady grove and Washington DC for work and sightseeing. My favourite thing about the place was the many squirrels within the condominium grounds, which were very pretty in Autumn. A little warning to light sleepers that the upstairs neighbours floors were very squeaky, but the bed was very comfortable.

Owais is a highly accommodating, extremely dedicated host who puts the needs of his guests first and pulls out all the stops to make their stay a pleasant and comfortable one. I would recommend him to anyone planning on staying in the DC area for any length of time.

The place is great, the host is awesome, and everything about my monthly stay was more than perfect! It’s a nice community encircled by beautiful trees. The vibes of the autumn with golden leaves are unmatchable. Inside the apartment, there is everything you need. The host is always on the phone and ready to help if you need something. Highly recommend this place!

I relocated to Maryland from abroad and stayed at Owais’ listing for a month while I sorted out long-term housing. Owais is a helpful host; he checked in with me before I arrived and frequently during my stay. He also gave me tips on public transport and was amenable when I needed to extend my stay by a few days. 

 The apartment has a total of 3 bedrooms – the room I stayed in shares a bathroom with one other bedroom, and the kitchen/living area is a common space shared by all guests (the host isn’t on-site). This listing has facilities for a long-term stay: a kitchen equipped with cookware, access to a pay-per-use laundry room, a desk in the bedroom and reliable wifi. 

The location is also convenient if you need to use the bus or metro. There is a bus stop at the end of the street that the apartment complex is located on, and to connect to the DC Metro Red Line you can catch a bus from this stop to the Twinbrook Metro Station (~5 minute ride) or walk to the same station (15-20 minutes). There was no cleaning service during my stay (I assume because of COVID) and I was asked to vacuum the room and launder my bedding upon checkout. So if you are particularly concerned, I’d double check with the host about the cleaning regime between guests’ stays.
 
Unfortunately, I saw a mouse in my room during my stay and another guest staying at the time had seen one as well. When I brought this to Owais’ attention he said this was due to mice coming in from the surrounding woods looking for somewhere warm. He alerted property management and gave me bait to set up a trap.
 
 Overall, Owais is a responsive host, the listing has amenities for a long term stay and the location is close to transport links by bus or metro.
