The master bedroom had a great set up for parents of very little kids: two mini rooms came off it so they were able to set up baby in one and Miss 3-year-old in the other so they didn’t wake one another. Another room had it’s own outdoor exit, so was perfect for our dog to have a run outside to burn off the barky energy before everyone else got up. The place had a beautiful view of the local mountain and was less than 5mins drive to our friends that we were visiting. Host was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Lovely flowers on the table for our check in was a nice touch too. Also, in Matakana we went to a bakery that was dog friendly (ie they let us have her inside with us when it was wet weather outside). A great stay all around.

Jenny’s place has beautiful views and was perfectly located to enjoy the area. It was clean and has lovely linen on the beds We enjoyed the fresh fruit and flowers If you are visiting in the cooler months make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes as it was quite chilly in the morning and evenings
