This place is perfect. Spotless, cozy, and large enough for a jet-lagged family to spread out and be comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning and endlessly fascinating as the light and weather change. We made good use of the kitchen, which is well equipped for cooks. The chalet is located right next to the campground, where there are groceries and a good restaurant, and the bus to “downtown” Lauterbrunnen is quick and right across the street. Richard is a great host. All around a great experience.
Very nice experience
This was a wonderful place to stay for our group! Beautiful view, the hosts were responsive and friendly, the place is in a perfect location to enjoy the area without the need for a car and everything was clean, in good working order and as described. The beds and other furnishings are comfortable. We particularly appreciated how well supplied everything was. Enough toilet paper and paper towels for our stay and attention to little details like string and tape which are above and beyond the typical air b n b . Of note when booking is that the upper beds are on a mezzanine which is open to the living room below, which was not an issue for us at all, but might be a deterrent to some groups of privacy is a major issue. The bus stop to get both into Lauterbrunnen (and beyond) and in the other direction to the Stechelberg gondola (and beyond) is just a few paces from the flat. We would love to stay here again sometime if back in the area - preferably sooner versus later.
Un appartement très agréable et impeccable, aménagé avec goût et surtout avec une cuisine parfaitement équipée. Depuis l’appartement accès à tout une panoplie d’activités et magnifique vue sur la vallée.
L'appartement était tout à 1 minutes à pied du bus qui menait aux pistes. Il est très bien aménagé et avec tout le confort. Richard a laissé des indications partout pour faciliter l'usage de tous les appareils. On a passé un très bon séjour chez Richard et à Lauterbrunnen.

During the winter season access to the whole of the Jungfrau Ski Region is very easy. (Wengen, Mürren and Grindelwald).
It is the perfect spot for during the Summer as a base for hiking in the alps and trips to the lakes of Thunersee and Breienzersee.
The apartment is within walking distance of the Lauterbrunnen village and train station. The is a bus stop that also takes you into town directly outside the apartment or to the gondola stations and is free in the winter season.
The chalet has easy access to local shops, restaurants, and the local train/cable car services to the Alpine villages of Wengen, Grindelwald, and Mürren from which you can access the many hundreds of kilometers of walking trails and ski runs.
It is convenient for access to the major towns of Interlaken, Bern, and Lucerne. Getting to Lauterbrunnen either by train or car is very easy. A car is not essential but there is a lockable garage available to you free of charge.
