Wow, this place really exceeded my expectations. Eleonora and her family were wonderful! Well-located, spacious, super clean. The kitchen has everything you need and is well-stocked with coffee and snacks. Cant recommend enough. Thanks!

Excellent accueil d'Eleonora, très amicale, avec de bons conseils et de très bons petits gateaux!!!! L'appartement est tout à fait conforme à sa description et très agréable. Il est parfaitement situé à 2 pas des remparts. Très bon court séjour !

We loved Eleonora’s place. It is so convenient to walk to the walled part of Lucca. It’s very private, yet close to all the restaurants, shops, the train station, and a grocery store. We walked everywhere. Eleonora met us at the apartment and showed us around. She also left us a delicious bottle of wine, and an absolutely yummy pastry from her friend’s shop. That was so helpful because we were able to make coffee at home and enjoy the treat for breakfast. Highly recommend this apartment.

We really loved our stay at PortElisa. The location is perfect – just outside the city walls, and with a garage for your car to boot. It’s literally five minutes to the walls, and perhaps another ten to the center of Lucca. The apartment itself is so delightful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a terrazzo for dining, lovely bed linens, and roll down shades everywhere for those who like to keep the sun out in the morning. Eleonora is a lovely host – we had pastries waiting for us when we arrived, a bottle of wine, chocolates, and all the basic necessities for cooking (oil and vinegar, salt, sugar, etc.). We couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend PortElisa for your stay in Lucca.
