Are you an OU alumni that wants to spend some time at your alma matter? Are you parents of a current OU student and want to spend some time with your kids? Are you wanting to check out Athens and all that it has to offer without spending an arm and a leg? Check out our OU/Athens getaway! 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment within walking distance to uptown, restaurants, the bike path and more! Our quirky/funky little apartment may be just the right place! The living room is bright and inviting, lots of silly items to check out. The bedrooms are very spacious. The lighting in the apartment is a bit quirky - there are no overhead lights in the bedrooms, only floor lamps, so if you are wanting to do anything requiring lots of good or natural light, this might not be for you. Please keep in mind that this is our apartment too. We spend lots of time in Athens at out apartment, and it is set up for the things that we like and how we prefer for the most part. Though we have added to the apartment to make it hopefully inviting and comfortable for you too!

My husband and I met in Athens during grad school and stayed one night while we were back visiting. This is a great spot for someone who wants easy access to campus and also outdoor recreational areas. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and full of fun decor and Bobcat tributes. Kathleen provided clear instructions and was super responsive. We’ll definitely check to see if it’s available on our next visit!
PERFECT spot. Kathleen was wonderful and super responsive and the space was so cute and cozy! Would definitely stay here again…and probably will!
I had a nice stay at Kathleen’s place. It is convenient to OU campus and is clean with cute decor and comfortable beds. She thoughtfully left drinks and snacks which was appreciated after a long drive.
Another great stay. Kathleen’s place is so convenient to OU. Love that there’s a washer and dryer too. My daughter was able to wash a few loads instead of using her dorm laundry which I know she appreciated. Will definitely stay again for an overnight visit. Also be sure to check out White’s Mill just down the road. Such a neat store.
We really enjoyed the decor. Three of us were alums. Dey clean and organized we would definitely come back again!!

Currently there is road work on Union and it is restricted to one way, East. Because of this, you will need to access Union and the apartment via Rt. 682 and turn onto Union from the west end (the intersection of 682 and Union is where White's Mill is). Leaving the apartment you must turn left onto Union and go towards uptown.
The apartment has free parking and is within walking distance of several great restaurants and bars. The bike path is 1 block away and this apartment is perfect for someone bringing your own bikes and want to explore the Hocking Adena Bikeway. Parking around Athens is generally fine, but pay attention to the signs and tow away areas, they are serious about this and you WILL be towed if you are parking somewhere that you shouldn't be.
