A fabulous stay! A home for all seasons, and it felt like home from the moment we arrived. This is a beautiful home on an amazing property with beautiful woods, a lovely pond, a nice pool with a very enjoyable hot tub, and a pretty vegetable garden. It is a wonderful get-away or longer-term stay. It is both cozy and elegant making it perfect for an adult escape while also suitable if you wish to bring along children. There is much for everyone to do or, if you choose, a perfect place to do nothing but sleep, rest, walk, entertain, or exercise. Peace and quiet abound in a setting of restful comfort. However, the wonderful kitchen and dining area offered a splendid setting for a lovely dinner with friends. There is much to do on-property, but skiing is nearby in the winter, along with great restaurants in Lenox and Great Barrington. In the summer, there are Tanglewood and the Hudson vineyards, along with terrific hiking trails. We plan to go back soon and often.

I love this house! The house is beautiful and spacious, filled with light and air, and with a beautiful view. The house has a relaxing and calm feeling. There is a wrap-around deck with deckchairs, a BBQ and a large dining table for use during warm weather. The bedrooms are comfortable with soft linens: an excellent night's sleep. The first floor den+kitchen+dining room is well-appointed and comfortable: a gourmet kitchen with all the amenities a home cook could want, and there is plenty of space for more than one person to partake in the cooking. The appliances are high-end. Right off the kitchen, you will find the washer-dryer. There is a 1-person sauna in the basement. The pool is closed now but it is large, surrounded by a tasteful patio. Such a comfortable house! In the area nearby, you can buy fresh eggs at the farm, shop at the 2 country stores with local organic produce, or go into town to dine or shop. All in all, a wonderful stay at a beautiful house in a beautiful setting.

Gorgeous: expansive, gracious, comfortable, and set on a beautiful property. Each room offers a different, wonderful view of the extensive lawns, special trees, and the Berkshire mountain ridges beyond. With lots of space for gathering or spreading out, the house is perfect for a group. Downstairs, you’ll find a huge foyer, a well-equipped kitchen, a welcoming living room, a classic library, an elegant dining room, and (my favorite) a fabulous sunny rocking chair porch. Young folks will enjoy the sprawling 2nd floor gaming space. And the mattresses are SO comfortable! I didn't want to get out of bed. :) It's classic early Gilded Age luxury, lovingly preserved -- with every modern comfort and amenity. It's also just minutes from Lenox shops and restaurants, Tanglewood, ski resorts and the largest zipline! etc. Enjoy!
