This is “glamping” in the woods where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors in this new but vintage-vibe tiny cabin near fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting, and trails for hiking and biking. There is also a small pond with a dock on the property. You will have plenty of secure parking for vehicles, boats, kayaks, or bicycles. This is a very wooded and secluded property. The cabin has through-the-wall AC and heat. Hot and cold running water is available at the kitchen sink. Dishes, cookware, and various appliances are provided. A TV with firestick provides plenty of indoor entertainment. There is also an attached covered deck and a large fire ring with chairs and loungers. A charcoal grill is available. Please note that the cabin utilizes an odorless and easy-to-use compost toilet, and we take care of disposal. The shower is also outdoors, so in cold weather we will help you make other accommodations. (This is part of the reason for the price drop over the winter.)

The overall experience was so peaceful and beautiful. Cheryl was super friendly and provided us with a delightful coffee cake during our stay. I would rate the property as exceptional; cherl and her husband showed great hospitality throughout my stay and even offered things to do in okmulgee!
We had a great time glamping! Nice and clean. Very sweet hosts! We plan on going back this summer!
We enjoyed Cheryl’s stay, it was a different experience although we were wanting a bit more privacy. We had thought it would be by itself. Overall we would stay again but not as just a one on one couple time.
Cheryl and Tim are some of the warmest and most welcoming host I have encountered. Such an amazing place, shower is my favorite! My dog blue was welcomed with open paws! Delicious bread in the morning! What more could you ask for! I will be back when I am around in the area. The area is beautiful, lots of hiking, beautiful sunsets at Clovis Point! We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to bring our dog which is a bonus for us. Cheryl offered to help us build a campfire, but my allergies were acting up so we declined. On our second morning, Cheryl brought some delicious coffee cake, (still warm!)

We are located between two lakes with camping areas. It takes about 20 minutes to get back to town for groceries, etc., although there is a bait shop with a few supplies about three miles up the road.

I grew up in Okmulgee but lived in OKC most of my adult life. We camped with our boys at Lake Okmulgee many times and decided to retire here but I still work from home. I have gone to school for medical lab, music, and anthropology. We built on this property which is beside a closed-down church my mother once pastored. I also do creative writing and storytelling.
