Fares range from CI$2 for short trips to CI$5 for longer trips to East End or Cayman Kai. I booked this airbnb for myself and my little family, it was so clean and neat inside and out. The place looks exactly like the photos . It felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that is looking for a peaceful place to stay with their family. I was able to get in and out of the home easily and he communicated very well. If you're looking for a host he is definitely a good pick. I will definitely be returning to cayman island and I would love to return to your Airbnb. Thanks for providing such tranquil environment, I found you at last minute and I'm so happy I did. Money well spent. You have definitely helped in making our trip a memorable one!
First of all, I just wanted to say that the property was as described. The host and their responsiveness really helped make this property. A few things I wanted to highlight was that they host provided a play pen for my toddler (which was already setup when we got there), put local beers in the fridge upon my arrival and they even adjusted the price that went up before I booked it after I brought this to their attention. There were lots of extra linen and beach towels. I wasn't surprised based on the pictures that the space was a bit tight inside. Luckily, the weather was great and we didn't spend much leisure time inside. I read a review that there had been an insect issue, which I mentioned to the host before arriving and they assured me it had been dealt with. It was, however, some remaining bugs were there - as expected in a Caribbean climate. Small issues with the back door and the outdoor lights, which they immediately addressed. None of these were concerns as hosts are amazing!
Home away from home . Everything you need is provided and as long as you hire a car you can get round the island easily from this accommodation. Hosts very helpful. Surrounded by the sound of nature and chickens everywhere all over the island.
Fidel as a host was super nice. She tried her best with the place she’s got, so no issues on the host individually. However, cleanliness could certainly be a concern. My first night at the place, I saw a HUGEE spider on the bathroom curtain. Luckily host had insect sprays below the sink so that helped. The next day we saw a centipede on the bed where my 3 month old daughter was sleeping. This was the part that really made me unhappy about the place. Did take pictures to share. Overall, a little bit of touch up and regular maintenance by professional cleaners can certainly put this place to better ratings.
Wonderful find! Fidel’s place was just what we needed for a girl’s trip. He even had a bottle of wine ready for us in the fridge! Much better location versus staying in busy Georgetown. Great restaurants nearby, quiet, super clean, instructions were clear. Would definitely stay here again!
