Pour se rendre sur place, nous avons pris un bateau depuis naval (2 départs par jours). Sur place, Jovie et sa famille s'occupent de tout. Du transport entre le port et le logement, de l'excursion sur sambawa, des repas (très bon, environ 5 euros par repas pour 2) etc.... Ces supplements sont proposés à des prix très raisonnables. La famille est très accueillante ainsi que les personnes des villages environnant. Le tour de l'île fait environ 22 km. Nous aurions souhaité le faire à pied mais on nous l'a déconseillé. Il semblerait que certains villages craignent plus (avec des personnes alcoolisés). Il y a la possibilité de louer un scooter pour faire le tour. Il y a une belle plage accessible à pied. Malheureusement lors de notre séjour la route juste derrière était en travaux. Nous avons apprécié l'authenticité de ce séjour.

Such an affordable price for two. The place was clean and peaceful also the host's are very friendly. They cook for you and you will just pay them extra for that. They also coordinate with the boat people that will send us to Sambawan Island, which is our main destination. The place is also walking distance to the beach, and the water is so clear that you want to swim instantly. The only problem for me is that they don't have wifi, though there are pisowifi in the neighboorhood, it is also very slow. It is important for me specially I have transactions that I need to update. But nanay said soon they will install their own Wifi. I hope to visit again since I haven't tour the whole Island yet, and will definitely stay in this house again.

The house in the Barangay Bato is new and in a good condition. The sleeping Room is small, just enough space for a double bed and a bedside table. For food you will be dependent on the family to cook for you - there are no supermarkets, restaurants or Cafe's around. I got for example omelette and bread for breakfast, chicken Adobo or fish for dinner. They even made a self-made Cacao for me made from the Cacao plants on Maripipi island. They will give you good recommendations for beaches and they can organise a boat for you to bring you to Sambawan. They will also organise a motorbike to pick you up from the Port. For me those 3 nights were special in a good way. After those 3 nights the whole Barangay knew my name and I was welcome in everybody's house for drinks and the Barangay kids enjoyed to play Volleyball with me and accompanied me to the beach.
