The Beach House Matauri Bay is located at one of the most well-known stunning beaches in tropical Northland! 30km north east of Kerikeri township in the beautiful Bay of Islands, making Matauri Bay the perfect holiday destination. Enjoy lazy days at the beach with under a 2 minute walk from the beach house. Great swimming, snorkeling, diving and fishing. Sleep well in a king size bed, and queen bed, also a folding bed (suitable for a child only). Great kitchen, full stove, fridge and much more. Sunny well appointed rooms with all you need to relax and unwind!

Ideal and peaceful location on beautiful beach. House well equipped and clean. Within easy reach of other great spots along the coast. Communication excellent and helpful. No in house laundry facilities ( as noted in the listing) though for our short stay this did not matter. Having the local well stocked store next door was very useful.

The beach house is located in a popular location on a large section of tall trees, with ample shade out the front of the section for those hot sunny days.
On the way here stop for provisions in Kerikeri or Waipapa, ensuring you have all your needs met before you reach paradise.
Matauri Beach campground is located nearby, but far enough away for your private stay.
Te Ngaere Bay beach is just a 10 minute drive away.
Kemp House and Stone Store in Kerikeri is 34 km from Matauri Bay, while Paihia is 56 km from the property. The nearest airport is Bay of Islands Airport - just 37 km away.
Top of the hill before heading to Matauri Bay you will find a great fish and chip shop that has the best meals!! Try their yummy fish burger!

There is a domestic airport in Kerikeri, so why not fly up, hire a car at the airport and then drive to Matauri Bay (approx. a 33 minute drive).
