Marie and her family are very welcoming, warm people who helped me a lot during my stay! I spent a very pleasant month, in a house that was always clean and very functional. I recommend it 100%
Words cannot describe how fantastic Marie is as a host! From the initial contact right through my stay, she provided great information, made it easy to settle in comfortably and welcomed me into her family. Her house is kept impeccably clean, yet maintains a cosy sense of home. Communication was fantastic at all times. I highly recommend this home-from-home and would happily stay there again!
Marie is a lovely host. She has been extremely kind and helpful from the minute we spoke. She has gone above and beyond to help me settle in and feel at home. Marie keeps the house absolutely spotless. She provides a pleasant and relaxed environment and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in future.
What can I say? I came to Ireland to get a feel for what it would feel like to live here. I spent a month with Marie and her family. It really grew to feel like home. Her description is very accurate and she keeps the home immaculately! She will communicate her requests to you as a guest very clearly and then leave you to feel out how/if you want to be a part of the family or just a guest in her home. Because I chose to participate in the family, she was very gracious to include me in a few family dinners and outings to show me what her area of Ireland has to offer. Her neighborhood is quiet, and she's been a host for a long time, so she's thought of everything. She cleans the room weekly with fresh linens and towels. You'll get a drawer in the freezer, a shelf in the fridge, and a pantry/cabinet shelf as well. You will use the kitchen around her (very flexible) family's needs. I'm going to miss them all, including Buddy (the very sweet doggie) quite a bit more than expected. (this was my first AirBnb staying with a family) A few things for the traveler that are NOT in Marie's control - you need a car if you want easy access around Ireland. I did not have a car, but that was part of my plan too...what can I do on public transit? I went to Dublin, Galway, and Cork fairly easily. I got a Leap card and the 126 bus line runs fairly regularly and picks up about 5 minutes away from Marie's home. SO, you can get to Dublin, Naas proper, Kill, Kildare very easily that way too. There's a decent convenience store in Johnstown and good grocery store options in Naas and Kildare on the 126 line.
It was my first time in Dublin. I worked for a company near the accommodation. Marie was very nice and welcoming! She will always find a solution if you have a problem. I can absolutely recommend this Airbnb. My personal highlight was the bowling trip with her and her family. It was a perfect stay.
We live in a quite peaceful locality yet we are close to lots of amenities as listed before. Shops, boutiques , pubs, restaurants , golf courses The Kclub, Palmerstown golf and spa. Punchestown and Curragh race courses, places of interest to see , cinema, bowling, swimming pool.
There is a great bus service a 5 min walk from the house. There is parking if you come by car. if you wish to hire a bicycleI can help you on that.
