This delightful traditional cottage is situated deep in the heart of original crofting land in the west of Inverness-shire. Set within private and peaceful grounds on the bank of a rolling burn, this property makes a beautiful location to relax and unwind in for both couples and families alike. Located at the gateway to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, you will be perfectly based to explore this remote and rugged area of Scotland. The cottage neighbours the Ariundle Oakwood National Reserve and is surrounded by woodland and rolling hills, offering some glorious countryside views right from the front door. The accommodation has a traditional cottage style throughout and offers a warm welcome to guests with its comfortable and bright interior using traditional patterns and fabrics, beautifully reflecting its crofting heritage. Situated all on one level, the accommodation comprises of a lovely bright sunroom with uninterrupted views over the countryside where you can sit and drink your morning coffee, whatever the weather. As we carry on through the cottage there is a cosy sitting room with a separate kitchen/dining room. The large utility room is perfect for removing those muddy boots after a long day's walking. The double bedroom is comfortable and spacious with a feature fireplace and offers further views over treetops and the surrounding hills. The garden to the cottage is private and enclosed overlooking the flowing burn below. You could spend hours here just watching and listening to the wildlife that embraces this property. Or after a day exploring this remote area of Scotland, why not sit back with a glass of wine and savour some of the beautiful unspoilt sunsets on offer here.
