Our Mulberry House 1-Bedroom apartment has a size of over 500sf and is thoughtfully curated, beautifully designed, & well-stocked with local goods for stays over 30 days. Look forward to a charming courtyard-view apartment on the second floor (just one flight of stairs up), with dreamy surfer vibes. Inside is a dine-in kitchen, spacious living room with a generous seating area, desk area, 50" TV, and non-working fireplace, and a cozy bedroom with a comfy queen bed, plus high-speed Wifi. The design of our apartment, in the heart of NoLiTa, captures the charm of Laguna Beach in the 1970s, mixing both Danish and bohemian decor. Inside, there is a nautical color palette, comprised of a bright white walls and brick, a dark blue wainscot with undertones of green, charcoal doors with brass hardware, and a mix of bamboo plank and terrazzo tile floors. The generous living room has two windows casting golden light, a seating area with a Mario Bellini sofa, a wicker lounge chair, and a pair of boucle benches, a desk area with a 50" TV and Marshall speaker, and a non-working fireplace. Throughout is a curated assortment of artwork, including stunning black and white photography, a hand-made surf board, a Swedish sculptural relief from Sweden and a Danish woven jute tapestry. The dine-in kitchen, featuring light wood cabinetry with brass fixtures, is fully equipped, including a slide-in range, over the range microwave, and dishwasher. Also, there is a terrazzo bistro dinning table, vintage Austrian dinning chairs, and a Danish pendant light. The cozy bedroom is what we consider to be a charming sleeping cabin. There is a comfy queen bed, with a Casper Element mattress, a handmade fabric headboard with leather straps and brass hardware, a pair of colorful and vintage German side tables, and a Danish wooden shelf with hooks for hanging your small personal items such as handbags and hats. There is a well-sized closet with organizers for storing your clothing right outside in the kitchen area. Please note that the bedroom has no view, but is equipped with a window air conditioner and gets natural light from a transom window above the bedroom door, which faces the kitchen and living room. Small, yet charming, the petit bathroom has a step in shower with brass fixtures and a melange of white tiles, a small sink with a brass faucet and arched medicine cabinet, and a toilet perched beneath a small window, as well as a towel robe hook and soap dispensers for convenience. Our bathrooms feature Parachute towels and shower curtains, as well as Public Goods bath products. Due to the very small footprint of this bathroom, this unit is not recommended for individuals with mobility issues. Throughout the apartment, you will find finishes sourced from female and LGBTQ founded businesses, such as Parachute, Backdrop and more.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay on Mulberry Street! The furniture in the apartment was beautifully appointed, adding a touch of elegance to the space. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff—they were always attentive and quick to respond to any requests I had during my stay, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The location couldn't have been better—it was perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhood and all it had to offer. While the space may be on the smaller side, every penny spent was well worth it for the level of comfort and convenience provided. In fact, I found myself completely enamored with Mulberry Street and all it had to offer.Overall, my experience exceeded expectations, and I can confidently say that I have fallen in love with Mulberry Street. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful stay in the heart of the city.
I lived in the apartment for nearly 5 weeks and I absolutely loved it. Came to New York for work and the apartment was perfect - very close to great cafés and restaurants as well as workout spots and the subway. The place had everything you may need, and the hosts were super helpful and kind. 100% recommend. Will come back when I visit New York again.
This is quintessential Nolita living on legendary Spring Street. Chic shopping, upscale dining, and the fashionably cool and diverse crowd cruise the streets day and night. Located on the East side of Soho, you're in the nexus of trendy downtown and minutes from the East, West, and Greenwich Villages, Lower East Side, and Tribeca.
Arriving by Airport
We recommend you either come by taking a taxi, using the AirTrain / subway, or requesting a vehicle for hire on-demand (ie Revel, Uber, or Lyft, available in the App Store).
Arriving By Train We recommend you refer to Maps for precise directions on the best subway routes to the property.
Getting Around
Although taking a Yellow Taxi, subway, or Uber/Lyft are the classic ways New Yorkers get around, we recommend taking eco-friendly CitiBikes, which offer standard and electric bicycles on-demand with docking stations just a short walk from the property
