I had a wonderful stay at Pak Wibi's house. The cozy house with a charming fireplace added a perfect touch to the mountain retreat experience. Pak Wibi was incredibly friendly, communicative, and responsive, making the stay even more enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings on the mountain provided a serene atmosphere, creating a truly memorable getaway.

From the beginning, our host, Wibisono, demonstrated clear and frequent communication. We were told what to bring and about the cool climate. We needed to reorganize our arrival and your host was quick to help with logistics to an extent above and beyond expectations. Our primary interest was the Bromo Park from the Tosari entrance. The location enabled us to sleep in. Our host connected us with local transportation. Our photos received a large number of social media responses. There are nearby restaurants which we used. They are modest and traditional. I made use of the fireplace through the stay including support from the house staff to get the fire going. Views from the villa were breathtaking although we had some clouds and rain during our stay. We are resident to Jakarta and valued the cool, clean air. My wife loved the rain. Similar to our arrival, we were supported above and beyond expectations for our outbound logistics. The Pasuruan train station is an hour drive away.

This was my first time staying in a mountain area. My first concern was accessibilty. Mr Wibisono was very helpful in sharing with us what was around the area for us to do. The stay is located in Tosari area which is actually near to Tourist area and just 1hr drive to Mt Bromo The neighbourhood has a very close bonding friendly community where everyone is always smiling and greeting when they see us. Near the stay, there is a no. of small cafes, eatery, and market. We also chose to walk around the area and found many beautiful cafes and even a kid friendly play museum during our walk. Mr Wibi also arranged for us a Jeep to visit Mt Bromo early in the morning 2.30am with a driver who can speak and understand english (very important to me) The house itself has a fire place and very strong Wifi. I was concern about not having air conditioning in the place at first but well seriously. it was totally not needed. Me and my friends had a very fun time enjoying the fire place. Very worth it.
