Helen was a great host - very responsive. the location is good, just make sure to do a shop in Millicent as there is no supermarket in town. The beaches are lovely. It’s a quiet town where you can relax. There is a great little playground right across the road if you have younger kids (a tennis court too). The house has everything you need for cooking, the beds are comfy, nice shower with hot water and a blast with the split system was all we needed to cool the place down on warmer days. We had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Helen’s place in Southend. The house was clean and comfortable and having the playground and tennis courts across the road really made it a family friendly place to stay. Helen was helpful and responsive to any questions we had.
