My family and I stayed there for 2 weeks and we were sad to leave. There was plenty of room for us 6 and it was very homely. The pool, bbq and outside patio was where we spent most of our time and it was awesome. The pool is bigger than expected (2,5 m deep) and so great to cool off in the Maltese heat! The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. Very well decorated and air conditioning in each bedroom. Location was great! The natural stone walls and tiles floors are stunning and the third bedroom with its unusual bathroom is a lovely addition to the property. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the addition of the lovely pool is welcome after a day sight seeing in the hot sun. Kercem wasn't a hive of activity in September but it isn't far to Victoria where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. David's bakery in the village sells really good bread but the 'must have' is definitely the gelato! So many unusual flavours and at reasonable price. The photos are accurate but you don't feel the sense of history and heritage about the property until you step inside it. Everything worked perfectly, the air con, dishwasher, washing machine, plenty of hot water. We loved staying in this house, our children thought it was like a magical space and were so excited when they discovered another staircase! It was fabulously quiet, the bus service a stone' s throw away and the pool and garden a little oasis. DETAILED DESCRIPTION • The main entrance opens onto a spacious double living room. The eye is immediately caught by the charm of old coloured cement tiles weathered by thousands of steps, stone vaults, very high ceilings but also modern decoration. Contemporary paintings, tribal art pieces or an antique wooden chest are harmoniously scattered throughout. The indoor dining room comfortably accommodates 6 people, and in the continuity, the lounge is set up. You can relax on a modern and comfortable sofa facing the Toshiba connected TV, follow one of the 50 international channels, and access YouTube for free, Netflix with your codes. Free WiFi. An arch leads to the fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need during your stay. And there, in the extension of the kitchen, at the back of the house, reveals an unsuspected haven of peace: the magnificent central outdoor patio with the large pool and the stone terrace surrounded by vegetation. They are elegantly and modernly decorated. You will appreciate the comfortable bedding and the luxurious bed linen from a well-known French brand. The 3 bathrooms each have walk-in showers, sinks, and toilets. A little apart, bedroom 2 is an intimate and zen cocoon with its light wood mezzanine hosting the double bed. The ceiling is so high that you can stand upright on the mezzanine and there is still plenty of height space. Below are a desk area and a reading corner for the exclusive use of this bedroom. Bedroom 1 is a spacious charming master suite with its whitewashed stone walls and designer bathroom. Queen size double bed. Bedroom 3, of a more sober style, offers 1 single bed + two bunk beds. An outdoor balcony runs along the entire facade and overlooks the pool. What a pleasure to settle in the morning with the first rays of sunshine with a cup of coffee in hand or to share a glass of wine in the evening! A spiral staircase leads to the sun-drenched rooftop all day long. It is furnished to allow for relaxation or sunbathing. The view extends to the neighboring houses, further to the fields, and in the background, the Citadel, not to be missed at night when it shines, fully illuminated. • And finally, we are very happy to welcome families and children. For the little ones, a baby cot, a wooden high chair, and various accessories are available. For the older ones, we have provided toys and board games.
