We enjoyed our weekend break at the cottage. It was very tidy and clean and had everything we needed. It's decorated to a high standard. We loved the quirkiness. The beds were comfy and we all wanted to take the shower home with us! It's an ideal base for visiting Whitby, Saltburn and Guisborough plus many other places that we just didn't have time to visit. We would recommend and stay again if we are ever in the area.

A great , comfy cottage with everything you need. The toys were particularly welcome for us but Alison also provides lots of family games and extras for dogs so it’s a real family home. Great location for the coast and not too far also for inland visiting Great Ayton, Danby , etc. Good parking facilities and lots of nice places for food close to hand.

The cottage was spotless, kitchen and bathroom - so clean.... Beds are comfortable and everything we need is already in. Nice location , we have enjoyed driving around the small villages nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in Alison's cottage. She really has thought of everything and there were lots of touches which made our stay feel like home from home. The beds were really comfy, the bathroom was fabulous, the kitchen had everything you need and the living room was really comfy with a lovely log burner. We would definitely return. Thank you, Alison, for your hospitality.

We had a great stay at Alison's cosy cottage. The house was perfect for our walking mini break (3 adults plus 2 dogs). It was homely, super clean and thoughtfully equipped. The location is great and right on the (regular) bus route between the beautiful beach at saltburn and quaint harbour at staithes. we took footpaths through woodland and fields to get to saltburn - even saw deer, then on to the Cleveland Way. Lovely pub just 2 mins walk away for dinner (Queens arms) as well as supermarket for supplies.
