Along a rocky coast there are the southernmost villages: Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas. As the name suggests, Costa del Silencio is a very quiet place. Located in the nature reserve of Montaña Amarilla, you can enjoy nature and beautiful walks along the coast, where you can find small bays to swim. Costa del Silencio offers everything for everyday use, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafes. Las Galletas is the next bigger village. There is a small harbor where you can buy fresh fish and where several restaurants are situated on the promenade. In the charming center of the village you will find many small boutiques, cafes and supermarkets. The beach of las Galletas with its fine sand, a lot of space is located at the harbor and perfect for swimming. The tourist resorts of Playa de la Américas and Costa Adeje can be reached in a short distance, in about 10-15 minutes by car. To the airport it is only a few minutes.
