The house is OK but did not meet our expectations based on the description, photos and price point. All photos do not reflect the house in its current state with either furniture being different and the 4th bedroom looking entirely different to what was shown in the photo. The house did not feel clean, had a musty smell and the white couch had stains, hair, marks plus the spa did not seem clean enough to use with sand on the bottom and cloudy water. It’s also very noisy with the pub across the road which makes it very loud in the 2 front bedrooms until midnight on the weekend nights.

I booked lisa places for my friends to come up to Newcastle to visit me for my birthday (I live 5 mins away). The idea of a hot tub and sauna sounded perfect. Easy check in, house was clean and comfortable. The stay accommodated 8 people and was very expensive so I would have assumed there was all things required for a weekend stay. There was unfortunately only one champagne glass and 3 wine glasses so I then needed to drive home to collect my own glasses which I felt for the price was quite disappointing. Also the hot tub was warm (amazing) but was dirty. Which when you’re paying a large amount of money you expect certain things. Unfortunately after check out we realised we had left a bikini in the bathroom. We contacted Lisa who asked her cleaners and denied any “used swimmers” being there. This was really disappointing as we know they were left there and feel we hadn’t been told the truth and they may have been binned. Otherwise a great stay but unfortunately a sour ending.

This place was great, we’ll presented and clean, great location and was within walking distance to pubs, restaurants, beaches and short driving distances to shopping centres and activities like Go karts

While the house was spacious, and offered great extras like a spa and sauna, a few minor details could be improved to enhance the overall experience. Firstly, some essential items were missing, such as a coffee machine, sufficient crockery and glassware, and enough towels for swimming. While Lisa responded promptly and delivered them, having these readily available would have been ideal. Secondly, while the majority of the house was clean, the primary bedroom had a noticeable damp smell and some mould on the washing basket. A more thorough cleaning, particularly in this area, would be beneficial. Finally, the noise from the nearby pub was noticeable, though it subsided after midnight. Overall, it was a great stay, and with a few minor improvements, it could be even better!
