We were looking for a quiet place to rest in the country. A place for my husband to to go fishing, walking, listen to creek and relax. I wanted a piano to play and relax and read. We ended up having the whole place to ourselves and even made ourselves a fire in the fireplace as the last evening was very chilly. This place was perfect for us, we loved meeting the young lady who was our breakfast chef and enjoyed her cooking. They were VERY sensitive to my gluten and other food allergies. Will definitely visit again.

The breakfast wasn’t very good. There were giant ants in the sugar jar we had to set it outside as the sugar was a solid brick. We couldn’t use any of the cups in the cabin as they were all dirty. The cabin didn’t smell right and was very small. Nothing was clean but seeing the horses walk by the windows in the morning was pretty neat.

We stayed at this wonderful place for the first time in October for her birthday, and it was perfect! The farm located in the country. It is enclosed by railing, and you enter through a gate. Two friendly horses roam free, and you can pet them. There are beautiful cabins and other structures, including a chapel, throughout the premises. There is a firepit out front you can enjoy, and the firewood is free. The room was clean, cozy, had air, a beautiful ceiling fan, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I got the best sleep I've ever gotten in my life. Every morning, Janice cooked us a unique homemade breakfast. There was a creek just off the back porch, where we ate when we woke up. She is an amazing cook, and we love her if only for that! If we needed something, we just texted her. She always responds immediately, and goes over the top to make her guests happy. In fact, we had a nice coffee pot in our room, but since I use a French press, I asked where I could get some boiling water. Within about an hour, she texted me back and let me know she left it in our screen door. It was a $50 brand-new-in-the-box electric coffee kettle. These people LOVE their guests, and treat you like family. We will definitely be back again and again! You should see this place before you die. We recommend it 1,000%!

We arrived to our room to find many spiders and webs, a very dirty floor and hairs in the bed. My husband and I are very easy to please, however did not feel as if these were acceptable conditions to stay in. The jacuzzi tub we were so excited about had spiders and webs as well. This room just was not clean. The ceiling and walls do not meet so you can hear others clearly. We decided this was not worth the $600+ paid. The location is pretty but is a good 45 minutes from Gatlinburg too if that bothers you. We knew this coming into it though. They were very apologetic and got us most of our money back very quick. They were good to work with and assured us this would not happen again. Would’ve enjoyed this place had it been prepared and cleaned. We just had a bad experience with that and were disappointed.

This place is wonderful. Janice is an amazing host that goes above and beyond to make your vacation very memorable in a beautiful way. I am gluten free and she was making sure every morning I had a delicious and warm gluten free breakfast. My daughter and I are planning to come back with a whole crew (friends and family) to have a fantastic time at Janice's place.
