We had a beautiful stay at Luna's place. Check in was easy. Inside, it was incredibly clean! The beds are very comfortable. It was easy to walk to the restaurants in the village. The well-known bakery is just around the corner, so too the fish shop (perfect for a lunch after a walk at the harbour). The weather was a little cool outside on our second nigh, so the fireplace was a welcome feature. Guests who enjoy watching movies series, concerts etc, may appreciate the large screen smart TV. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift Luna left us. We will definitely consider Luna's place next time we go on a writing retreat.
What a special spot! Surprisingly quiet just up the road from divine coffee shops & restaurants , boutique shops, tidal pools and the ocean. Stylish, comfortable, practical and uncluttered, no need unmet and a well kitted out kitchen. We absolutely loved our visit to The Old Shop and to Kalk Bay. Hope to be back again soon.

Great value for money, ealking distance to restos bars the beach and right within beautiful Kalk Bay. My dog and I would love to stay there again.

Nestled along the shores of False Bay in South Africa lies Kalk Bay, a picturesque harbor town celebrated for its vibrant fishing community and resident seals frolicking in the harbor. This coastal haven enchants visitors with its natural splendor, eclectic shops, diverse culinary scene, and awe-inspiring views. A single day scarcely does justice to the myriad wonders awaiting exploration in this charming neighborhood.
There is limited street parking. Please be mindful of other residents and do not block their driveways/entrances. Its a small street so larger cars may need to mount the pavement in order to stay out of the way for other cars.
