Great house with a lovely outdoor area which was good for BBQs. Location was good and close to the main town of Esperance. Communication was good and we were kept updated on all information. Only thing to be mindful of is there is no wifi which I needed for work (this is stated in their profile I just assumed most places had wifi) but this information is provided.

I felt that the property could have been described better. No pre-warning the hot water tank would only allow a few very brief showers before running cold. This doesn’t work when having 4-6 guests some of which like to have baths. BBQ was meant to have a gas tank attached and spare available. There was only an empty tank attached and meant we had to replace this ourselves on a Saturday evening in order to cook a meal as planned. I had a generic apology for this and was told I’d be refunded for the price of a gas tank. I then had no further communication from Thorpe realty and my messages were ignored. I had to call them and chase this refund and did not have a positive experience with this. This was my first Airbnb stay run by a real estate agency rather than an individual and was not impressed. All communication was generic and not traceable to an individual/lacked care. I felt frustrated by the experience as I was entertaining my family visiting from overseas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very quiet neighbourhood and the property is well maintained.
