Couples retreat in the Ozark Mountains! True peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Nestled in the trees overlooking "Bear Dog Hollow", our tree cottage is chalked full of enchantment and unique ambience. From the soaking jet tub and heated bathroom floor to massive double decks, you'll find the peace, quiet and natural setting you need to relax and recharge. -10 miles from Devil’s Den -15 miles from Fayetteville AR. (And don't worry, we have high speed internet + streaming!) Our "tiny tree cottage" sits on 30 beautiful acres in the Boston Mountains (part of the Ozark Mts). While the inside is around 320 sq ft, it feels spacious thanks to the wall of windows and over 600 sq ft of gorgeous deck space.

Although the cottage is small, the use of the space was ingenious. Also, the decks expanded the living space. Earlier guests commented on the tub but I loved the outdoor shower just as much. The kitchen was very well stocked. First airbnb I have stayed in that had Portuguese flor de sal! Everything was very high end. We booked this not only because it was beautiful and on 30 acres with trails but because of its proximity to Devil's Den State Park. It is about a 25 minute drive to the Park where there are many other trails. Our dogs had a wonderful time running and hiking, as did we. Michael and his father, Roger, were very friendly and available. I would definitely recommend the cottage for a private getaway.
Truly enchanted, the tree house was perfect for a peaceful and quiet place to be near surrounding trees and nature. I enjoyed walking the property trails with no interruptions and the beautiful dogwoods in full bloom. The cabin is very new and clean. The beautifully lit surrounding top porch area has all you need for a small party; table, stools, chairs, fire pit, and grill. The full deck below was lovely to sit under, enjoying the morning rain, with a blanket thoughtfully tucked into the beautiful cedar cabinet. The kitchen also has everything one may need, a Brita jug, great coffee/tea set-up, dishes, utensils, snacks too. The jet bathtub and provided salts could get their own review after a hike, but what I loved the most was coming back at dusk to the outdoor shower and looking up to see the stars alight. The bed was comfy and the pillows softly plush too. I could have easily spent several days here, it is a splendid space for a restorative retreat from the city. Many thanks.
This was a delightful little place to stay! So peaceful, and so many thoughtful touches that made it very easy to be there. Michael was very responsive. You can really tell how much he loves hosting and sharing his beautiful little part of Arkansas with guests.
Michael was a great host. The treehouse was a great weekend getaway for my wife and I. Would love to come back and stay there again.
Perfect getaway for 2! Lovely outdoor space and fire pit. Perfect spot if you’re looking to unplug and relax.

Moved back to NWA in 2021 and helped turn my parents former home (log cabin) into one of the coziest Airbnbs in the land :) In 2023 we added an amazing little tree cottage just up hill from the cabin.
