Fantastic snorkeling and free diving experience without the crowd and awesome scuba diving sites awaits you in this peaceful and safe island. Come and summon the Island's serenity and use it to find your inner peace! + NO roosters + NO loud parties + NO annoying karaoke (only rarely and limited time) + NO loud vehicles (only a few motorcycles) Please be informed that this is a REAL ISLAND not connected to Bohol mainland. A truly ISLAND GETAWAY experience where the only way you can reach it is by a floating object or by swimming! 25sqm Duplex hotel room-type of a space with private access in a garden setting. It is 50.5 meters away from the shoreline. A mini kitchen is available on the balcony. Hot shower is available as well as a wall-mounted AC. Fast satellite internet access up to 150mbps powered by Elon Musk's Starlink! Sleeping arrangement: King-bed can sleep up to 3. Single-bed on the floor is available upon request. Second Single-bed can also be provided but this will make the room crowded. Children below 2 years old stay for free as long as they sleep on the king bed. 3rd guest that sleeps on the King-bed with the 1st and 2nd guests will not be charged extra. 3rd guest that sleeps on the floor mattress will have extra charge of 300 per night. 4th guest will automatically have a single-bed on the floor and will be charge 300 per night.

This truly was a hidden gem. John's place is tucked away on Cabilao island with a stunning beach in front. There are also three dive resorts next to it, all with excellent restaurants, and there is a small shop a ten-minute walk away where you can get drinks etc. The house itself has a large bed, kitchen with everything you need and a big garden. It's super quiet and peaceful. John was a great host, especially helping arrange transportation to and from the island.
Duo- huis, in een mooie, groene tuin. Er is een fijne buiten keuken met eenvoudig kookgerei. We hebben gekookt en namen hiervoor boodschappen mee uit de mercado in Loon. Je kunt een vat drinkwater bestellen voor heel weinig geld. Er is zowel een ventilator als een airco. De douche is prima, net als het bed ( lekker groot). Je kunt eten in het resort naast het huis, als het daar niet vol is. Er zijn muggen dus neem Deet mee. Het uitzicht en de rust zijn verbluffend.
Great value for money, quiet place.
Omi’s place is a little magical home in a nice small island 🏝️ We felt right at home and we didn’t want to leave. Few steps away from the sand and turquoise waters. Amazing sunsets 🌅 and unforgettable sea life! Plenty of starfish, fishes & beautiful corals just for us! Super comfy bed and pillows, kitchen for prepare simple meals, terrace to eat and relax, hot shower. At night time fireflies visited the terrace and the trees around.. we also had one flying over our bed 💚✨ magic moment! Couple of restaurants and dive schools next door. John is a great host, super helpful and friendly. He recommended places, help us with the logistics and took care of everything we need it to have an unforgettable time. Starlink wifi, good for remote work. Perfect place to scape from the noise, relax and connect with nature 💚 💯 recommended!! Thanks for everything! Hopefully we can come back with more time. Salamat

Cabilao Island is one of the premier dive sites in Bohol without the CROWD. 3 Dive Centers with restaurants are available just a walking distance away. Really good for sunbathing, free diving and snorkeling with a good chance of seeing sea turtles and beautiful corals. You can even do a shore scuba dive or join the boat dives when available. When peace, quite and privacy is what you are looking for, then this place is where you want to be.

QUCKIE...
1. Starcraft from Cebu pier 3 to Tubigon Port. [1.5 hours]
2. Tricab / Tuk Tuk to Sandingan Pier [45 minutes]
3. Motorboat from Sandingan Pier direct to Omi's place [30 minutes]
[We can arrange the Tri-Cab and Motorboat pickup. It will cost you only 2,000php upto 5 people.]
Adventure (slow):
1. Fastcat, Lite Ferries, Fastcraft from Cebu pier 3 to Tubigon Port. (around 500.00) [2 hours]
2. Tricab / Tuk Tuk to Sandingan Pier (around 300 per person) [45 minutes]
3. Motorboat from Sandingan Pier to Talisay Cabilao (30 php per person) [10 min]
4. Motorcycle from Talisay to Omi's Place (40 + 40 large bag + 20 tip = 100php per person) [10 min]
FROM TAGBILARAN CITY / Panglao Airport
QUICKIE...
1. Van / Car ride to Sandingan Pier. [50-80min]
2. Motorboat from Sandingan Pier direct to Omi's place [30 minutes]
[We can arrange the Van ride and Motorboat pickup. It will cost you only 2,500 php upto 8 people.
ADVENTURE (slow)
1. Jeepney ride from plaza Marcela Cogon Tagbilaran to Sandingan Pier (70.00 php) [90 min]
2. Motorboat from Sandingan Pier to Talisay Cabilao (30 php per person) [10 min]
3. Motorcycle from Talisay to Omi's Place (40 per person + 40 large bag + 20 tip = 100php) [10 min]
PLEASE NOTE:
+ Buy groceries at Tubigon market if coming from Cebu.
+ Buy groceries at plaza Marcela if coming from Tagbilaran.
+ 5 Gallon drinking and cooking water is available on site for 40 php per bottle.
+ Fresh fish maybe available on the island but not always.
+ Canned goods, chips, noodles, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks are available in a nearby store 200 meters (ish) away.
+ Last motorboat from Sandingan Pier is 6PM daily. Also will not operate on very windy / wavy days.
