The condo is snuggled at the foot of the Spanish Peak Mountains. A beautiful golf course with a walking trail is across the street. LaVeta is home to artist's shops, gourmet restaurants, and a microbrewery! Hiking and Kayaking are plentiful. It is a 1-hr drive to Pueblo and Trinidad, 1.5 hr to Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak, and 3 hours to Denver and Sante Fe, NM. The landscape is breathtaking with aspen-covered mountains, livestock grazing in open pastures nearby, and the Cuchera River. The condo is furnished with all of the basics you need to live well. The dining room comfortably seats 8. The patio is furnished with a bar-b-que grill. The in-unit washer and driver make laundry easy.

The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. Deer roam the area freely.
hiking trails and rivers for kayaking are plentiful nearby. We are within walking distance of the downtown area which boasts several gourmet restaurants, retail, and grocery stores.
While it is more enjoyable to have a car to go from place to place, the town is small and walkable. The Big R, only 2 doors down, is a variety store that carries everything from hardware to pet supplies to camping supplies. The town of Walsenburg is a lovely 15-minute drive. The larger metropolises of Pueblo and Trinidad are about an hour away. Both have big box retailers including Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart. Pueblo has a mall anchored by Dillards and AMC Theatre. Colorado Springs has the closest commercial airport and is 1.5 hours away.
