Around the town, you can partake in popular annual events including the Canmore Folk Music Festival, Highland Games, and ArtSpeak Festival. Surrounded by the beautiful Canadian Rockies and countless serene lakes, this is the perfect location for hiking, skiing and snowboarding, and taking scenic photos. Any season is a good season to be in Canmore!

Here are some information that might be helpful to you:
1. ski rental places:
The following store is relatively cheaper and close to your chalet.
You can always rent ski gear at the ski resorts with higher price. The price does not include Helmets. It will cost 5 to 7 Canadian dollars each. Bring your own Helmet and mask if possible.
2. Costco ski tickets for some famous Banff locations:
a. Lake Louise
b. Sunshine Village
c. Nakiska
3. Dog sledding tour - you may need reserve in advance.
4. “Not-to-be-missed” activities:
a. Johnston Canyon ice walk (2 hours)
b. Banff Hot Spring
c. Northern light watching

There is a Le fournil Bakery close to the Chalet for breakfast. (I personally like it)
