Shaun's place was exactly as described and is perfect for short stays - but with a few modifications, can easily be updated to accommodate longer stays! The neighborhood is quiet and the host and his mom generally keep to themselves in their respective bedrooms. I didn't meet Shaun (though he is very responsive to inquiries via Airbnb), but his mom is nice and friendly so you should feel comfortable and right at home. Grocery stores and restaurants are a couple of miles away so having a car is a must. I should probably mention the see through curtains in the bedroom; so if you're shy about showing your wares to the outside world, be sure to dress/undress in the bathroom.

This place was incredible. Extremely clean and Shaun and his mom were very welcoming and accommodating. My first day moms offered me a some pizza lolol! The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing kids outside playing whenever the weather permitted! I feel like that isn't as prevalent anymore and it really took me back to my childhood. Great selection of food nearby and you could be downtown in about 10-15 minutes. I won't stop in Charlotte again without at least spending a few nights here to catch up!
