The apartment is located a few steps from the Provençal Market - a bustling farmers' market selling local produce. There are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and artists' studios on the doorstep. The nearest beach is a two-minute walk, as are other attractions including the Picasso Museum, the ramparts with their spectacular coastal views, the Cathedral, and Place Nationale with its twice-weekly antiques market. There are spectacular coastal walks and several places to swim during the summer a short distance from the Old Town at Cap d'Antibes.
Located between Nice and Cannes Antibes is a great base from which to explore the Cote d'Azur. Day trips are possible to villages and towns along the French Riviera as well as to the surrounding mountains. Antibes railway station is a 950-metre (10-15 minute) walk from the flat. There is a frequent train service to and from nearby Nice Airport and to towns and cities along the Cote d'Azur, and a direct train service runs to Paris several times each day.
There is no on-street parking in Vieil Antibes, but there are two paid car parks within a 5-minute walk - QPark La Poste and QPark Pré aux Pêcheurs (both €78 per week at the time of writing). Free parking is available at Fort Carré, a 25-minute walk or short shuttle-bus-ride away.
