Fred was great at communicating & very friendly during and after the booking process. The unit itself is cozy and looks like the photos (we enjoyed the fireplace), however there are things not visible in the photos that were disappointing. There was a noticeable foul smell when we entered (like a barn or smelly old paint) that lingered for the entirety of our stay – even after leaving the screened patio door open in attempt to air it out. Most of the outlets in the room were not working during our stay and the sauna that's listed as an amenity in the listing does not actually exist at the property. It was a short drive to most of the destinations we wanted to see which was convenient and it got us through our weekend stay but overall is not somewhere we would return unless it was given some proper updating (which is disappointing because it has great potential and positive reviews).

My husband and I had one of the romantic evenings ever staying here. Absolutely everything was perfect. We walked to the restaurant, Highlands, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the golf course and a bottle of wine without the worry of driving. The bathtub & fireplace were everything!! Worth every penny & more!

Was a great weekend getaway to Galena, only a few minutes from downtown. The condo was very clean and setup to cook with everything you could ever need. There's a indoor pool and hot tub on site very quiet and peaceful would definitely come back.

The unit was a good value. Fred was very good about communications and answering questions. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with any questions that I had, and the room was clean. This particular unit is on the 2nd floor and has a east-facing view to enjoy the sunrise, both in the room and on the balcony. The pantry includes pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils, and dishware. As of March 2021, the pool and the exercise room need to be booked ~24 hours in advance (for a 1-hour exclusive use,) but the exercise room was used very infrequently, so it was not hard to get access the same day. The facilities also has a couple for-free arcade games by the billards table (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and NBA Jams.) And at night, it's quiet outside, if that's what you're looking for.
