Had a lovely stay at the lodge for a few days. Lots of room and amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub too!

Family of 4 for a few nights away. The cabin was clean and tidy with a very nice clean fresh smell. The kids had a room each with a family bathroom and we had the main bedroom with an ensuite. Each lodge has a hot tub, which was clean and ready for us to use, which was fantastic. It was the reason that I specifically chose Kate’s place. In the evening we popped the heating on, but the lodge is so well insulated that we turned it off almost immediately. Lovely quiet location with good space between each lodge (8 of them) and it’s centrally located with a large Sainsbury’s a couple of minutes drive away. The waterfront which was nice to stroll along was about a 5 min drive and if you want a beach it’s about 15 min drive, as is every beach in Devon. If I’m being really picky, we stayed in lodge 7 and there’s a weeping willow tree that made it a tad awkward to park but this isn’t helped with me driving a massive pickup. Would I stay again… absolutely and hopefully this year.

The place and location was perfect for us. It was quiet and private and plenty of space inside and outside. The people who maintain the place were helpful and friendly.
