You are minutes away from music at Tanglewood, plays at Shakespeare & Co., art at Norman Rockwell Museum, and much more. When staying on the property, enjoy the many spaces to socialize or relax inside or outside the house while gazing at 3.8 acres of country landscape. The house offers 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bath, 3 living spaces, a kitchen and a dining room. The open plan kitchen is fully stocked and organized to whip up an amazing meal while keeping the conversation going. The dining room has a large 10-person dining table. The bedrooms are located on either side of the common areas offering tranquil spaces to relax, work, or sleep. The entertainment room offers a 65” flatscreen TV to stream your favorite media. The house offers heating and air conditioning with the ability to control the temperature independently across 4 separate zones. On the grounds of the property, you’ll find a covered outdoor living room, an outdoor dining area, a grill, a fire pit, a deck with deck chairs, and a massive lawn with a picnic table and a seasonal stream.

We had a great time at Elise’s house. The heat works great for the big house - which is very important for the winter in upstate. Elise is always very responsive and kind!

Fantastic house! The host is extremely thoughtful and considerate in every detail. We were two families, one with two toddlers and a dog, and the other with another dog. The house is perfectly set up for families with young children and also dog friendly! There’s children utensils, plates and a stepping stool. Recommend to bring a dog gate, there’s a perfect area to keep dogs if you are spending a lot of the day skiing. There is even a dog wash station! The house quarters are perfectly arranged so everyone has a great level of privacy as well as a comfortable communal space.
We loved our stay at Elise's place! Her home was beautiful, large, very clean, and in a perfect location to enjoy the Berkshires! It was especially wonderful for a large group, and the kids also loved playing in the massive backyard. Elise was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.

The Berkshires has some of the most well-known cultural events in the world – Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Williamstown Theatre festival, and much more. Nearby towns of Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee, and Great Barrington offer an amazing restaurant scene, cute cafés, and eclectic gift shops. The house is also near famous relaxation retreats like Kripalu and Canyon Ranch.
Depending on the season: Ski or snowboard at nearby Bousquet, Catamount, or Jiminy Peak. Swim or kayak at Richmond Pond or Stockbridge Bowl. Hike or snowshoe any of the dozens of beautiful trails around.
A car is the best way to get around the Berkshires. You can park in the driveway.
If you’re arriving by train, the nearest station is Pittsfield where you can rent a car to explore the Berkshires – the Berkshire Flyer (May-October) runs from New York and Amtrak also runs daily service from Boston and Chicago. The nearest commercial airport is Albany International.
