The photos of Derek’s home are beautiful but you need to experience it to understand what a special place it is. Sitting on his deck you have front row seats to watch the yachts and marina activities. He recommended Demaro for a private day charter right from the marina. It was one of the best days we’ve ever had on the water….which is saying a lot because we have a boat. Derek was a gracious host; very responsive and accommodating to my requests. One of the reasons we would return to Nassau is to stay in this gorgeous home!!
We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Derek’s! The condo was just as described and shown in pictures. Stunning, spacious, and fully equipped with all you need on vacation! The setting at the private marina was great for our group, with access to pools and the beach right onsite. We enjoyed the short walks (or bike/scooter rides) to the club, tennis courts and beach; and were constantly entertained watching boats in and out of the marina. Derek was extremely helpful and responsive from before booking all the way through to after check-out. He gave great recommendations for local activities, transportation on the island (thanks, Don!), boat charters, etc. We highly recommend and would love to come back again!
Do not second guess yourself when checking out this property. BOOK IT. The photos do not do this home any justice. It is luxurious, but quiet and relaxing. One of the best places I have stayed thus far! Derek is also available for any questions along the way!
When traveling with friends, I have the reputation of always securing the best accommodations for our group. This place scored me lots and lots of extra points. We were on a marina and in a home that felt ‘at home.’ Derek has shared his immaculate home, and if you don’t book it, you’ll check-in elsewhere with nothing but regrets. Derek has thought of absolutely everything and we took advantage of all of it! From the bikes to the rooftop pool and the amenities in the community, we didn’t want to leave. If you’re a person who finds peace with water and meeting new people (on the marina and in the community) pick Derek’s place! Lastly, Derek was amazing! Answered all of our questions rapidly and provided lots of recommendations! This was hands down one of my the best AirBNB’s I’ve ever booked—also known to me as ‘paradise overload in the Bahamas!’ 🇧🇸
