Take a break in the West End of Clevedon. The accommodation is self-contained with its own stable door entrance, wood burning stove and private terrace overlooking views across the Land Yeo River and Marshalls Field. This stunning position is only a few yards from coastal walks and cycling routes. Clevedon's famous marine lake, which is open all year for wild swimming, is a short stroll away as are the local pub, post office and some lovely coffee shops a little further along the seafront. The accommodation provides a lovely open-plan kitchen and lounge area with TV and a cosy log burner. It is across the courtyard from our main house but once inside you feel you are totally away from it all and are not overlooked by us at all. The kitchen does not have a full oven but is provided with a microwave, toaster, fridge and dishwasher as well as the kitchen utensils needed to make a meal. The bedroom is a good size and contains a king-size bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. Inside the bathroom is an electric shower, basin and toilet as well as a washing machine for your use.

We had a lovely one night stay: Karen was friendly and welcoming and gave us the benefit of her local knowledge for some good places to eat. The cottage is clean, well-appointed and Karen had provided a small breakfast, stocked coffee machine and even some muffins/chocolates. It is quiet and faces the sea defences, with lots of interesting wildlife to see. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
I only booked one night here so that I could attend a meeting but I was sad to leave. The place feels like a home from home. Decor is lovely and everything is so well thought out. I was very grateful for all of the little goodies too. The location is also great, with beautiful views and peaceful spots moments away. I was only sad I did not have the time to explore further.
Beautiful two days in this cabin, Karen was a really lovely host who was so easy to communicate with. We really appreciated the breakfast she left for us, it was really nice to enjoy it on the sunny patio/balcony. The surroundings were gorgeous too. Lovely stay!
A fantastic place - clean and tidy with everything I needed. I was especially grateful for the ample supply of breakfast food, coffee and beer as I arrived late and had an early start! The log burner and private garden space make me want to visit again for a longer stay! Thanks!
It’s a wonderful place, probably the best airbnb we stayed in. The location is fabolous, quiet and a green private view. It is very comfortable with many little details (phone charger, binoculars, recommendations for restaurants…). Karen also kindly provided breakfast cereals, milk, bread, and drinks/snacks, which were great. Overall, 10 stars for THE place to stay in Clevedon.

We are located at the end of a private road just past St Andrews Church. The accommodation has lovely views over the Land Yeo River and Marshalls Field which have been filmed in various BBC productions including Broadchurch. A few steps away from the property is the bottom of Poets Walk which offers a lovely walk over Wains Hill and down to the Marine Lake and local pub.
The nearest supermarket is 0.5 miles away or you can visit the many lovely independent shops and restaurants in Hill Road after a leisurely stroll along the sea front.

Peter and I moved to Clevedon 3 years ago from London. We spent 2 years renovating our main house and lived in the annexe whilst the work was being done. We loved living there and decided we wanted to share the experience with visitors to Clevedon when it is not being used by family. One of our passions is travelling and experiencing new places and different sorts of accommodation and are now enjoying the experience of hosting others.
