Welcome to our lovely cottage, perfectly located in the charming village of Gilwern within the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Alongside mountain views and a log fire, the cottage boasts traditional features with modern touches, including a contemporary bathroom and kitchen. A pet-friendly space, guests enjoy off-road parking for multiple vehicles (including bikes), a picturesque garden, and fresh bed linens and towels. Not suitable for under 5s. PARKING Guests enjoy off-street parking for multiple vehicles in the large wrap-around paved driveway. KITCHEN Entering through the back door guests are greeted by a charming kitchen that has been set up for self-catering (although there are some great local eateries close by!) with a full-size fridge-freezer, oven, stovetop, cooking essentials including pots and pans, a dishwasher and washing machine. *Note that the kitchen entrance and ceiling heights are low. LIVING AREA Just off the kitchen, the open-plan living area provides guests with a warm, comfy space to watch TV in front of the log fire and a dining space for four with views overlooking the mesmerising Black Mountains. *We leave one bag of complimentary logs for the fire, with additional bags available at a charge. UPSTAIRS HALLWAY The wide upstairs hallway with gorgeous wooden floors provides guests with a desk to work at in a quaint cottage environment, leading off onto the master bedroom, twin bedroom, and modern bathroom. MASTER BEDROOM The spacious master bedroom is equipped with a sturdy king bed, bedside tables with lamps, a chest and wardrobe for storage, and a single armchair to sit back and take in the mesmeric view. All beds are made up with fresh linens. TWIN BEDROOM With two single beds and again offering mountain views., the twin bedroom provides a chest and bedside table for storage. BATHROOM Retaining its cottagey charm, the modern bathroom boasts a shower over bath with fresh bath and hand towels left for guests. GARDEN The picturesque garden is a great space to unwind or have a picnic. *The shed at the end of the garden is not accessible to guests.
